VICTORIA FURNISS

Founder and CEO of The Birdella Group and, previously, the key driver for the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment, Victoria is a leading voice on AI, intellectual property, and creative innovation. With deep experience advising global media, entertainment, and technology companies, she brings sharp legal insight and forward-thinking strategy to some of the most complex challenges facing creative companies today. A bridge between policy, law, and technology, she is helping define what responsible innovation looks like in the creative economy. Victoria previously held leadership roles at Netflix and Warner Bros.

REBECCA GOLDFARB

Rebecca is a dedicated attorney and policy advisor at ARIAM, specializing in copyright and AI law. She brings experience in copyright policy from her internships at the Authors Guild and the Recording Industry Association of America during law school. During law school, she also studied international IP and AI regulation during an exchange semester at Bocconi University in Milan. Before attending law school, Rebecca built marketing experience in the entertainment world, working in social media for two major entertainment publications. She graduated with a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in May 2025, where she was honored as a Justice Story Intellectual Property Scholar. She is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and California.

JOHN CARR OBE

John Carr OBE is a globally recognized authority on internet safety, security, and digital inclusion, specializing in the protection of children online. A law graduate from the London School of Economics, Carr has actively shaped international policy, having served as a Senior Expert Adviser to the United Nations, a board member for the Canadian Centre for Child Protection, and a former leader within the UK’s Children’s Charities’ Coalition on Internet Safety (CHIS). Among his major achievements, he successfully spearheaded the campaigns to mandate online age verification for UK gambling sites under the Gambling Act 2005 and for adult content under the Online Safety Act 2023. His distinguished career includes being honored with an OBE by Queen Elizabeth II in 2010, named one of 50 global “Modern Heroes” by the New Statesman in 2006, and receiving an “Outstanding Achievement” award from the Family Online Safety Institute. DAMIAN COLLINS OBE

Damian is a respected UK and international digital regulation expert. He leads the public policy practice at Geradin Partners in London, a leading law firm for competition law and digital regulation in major EU and UK cases. A former British Minister for Tech and the Digital Economy, he was responsible for online harms, digital competition, and AI safety. He played a leading role passing the UK’s DMCC Act and Online Safety Act through Parliament. Damian was an MP for 14 years and chaired the Commons DCMS select committee, leading inquiries into social media disinformation and immersive technologies. In 2021, he chaired the Joint Committee scrutinizing the Online Safety Act. He is currently a visiting Senior Fellow at McGill University’s Max Bell Public Policy School. He is a non-executive board member at the Center for Countering Digital Hate and Orbis Business Intelligence, and Festival Director of the Fleet Street Festival of Words, founded in London in 2025.
